CPR and AED Training

In this course, you'll learn how to perform CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively. It's based on the latest scientific guidelines from the American Heart Association for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

This course is for people with little or no medical background who require a CPR and AED certification card to fulfill job, regulatory, or other obligations.

This course covers:

• Why high-quality CPR increases survival chances
• Understanding the Chain of Survival
• Identifying when someone requires CPR
• Performing effective CPR on adults or a child* and infants*
• Collaborative CPR techniques
• Providing effective breaths using mouth-to-mouth or a mask for all ages
• Operating an AED for adults or a child* and infants*
• Knowing when and how to assist a choking adult or child or infants*

*Child and infant modules are available as optional components of the course.

CPR and AED Training comes in two methods: blended learning and classroom training. Both options teach the same science-based skills endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA) and includes Course Completion Card.
